Wider Reading for War Photographer
Click on the button above to download some wider reading to support the study of the poem War Photographer, by Carol Ann Duffy. It offers an alternative perspective of sorts. The text itself, taken from chapter six of the book Meditations for Mortals, by Oliver Burkeman, is an essay that explores the importance of accepting the limitations of our ability to both pay attention and make a meaningful difference to the world around us.
The essay spans three pages, but that’s largely because I’ve been quite generous with the spacing and margins. The document’s fully editable, so you can reduce it down to a couple of sides and print it onto double-sided A4.
