Perpetual Beta is the name computer programmers use to describe any piece of software that is in a state of constant development. There’s no defined end point and nor is there a final version release date.Just this: application, analysis, change and improvement ad infinitum. It’s a messy process and one that requires a great deal of patience, but it’s typically conducive to achieving progress over time. There’s surely an analogy for teaching and professional growth in there somewhere, particularly as we make our collective way through this changed educational landscape…
