A Revision and Reference Handbook for An Inspector Calls

Click on the button above to access the booklet. It’s designed to provide students with the ‘core’ knowledge they need to successfully navigate the play and – later on – to form a basis for revision. There are three main sections:

1. Key Moments
2. Analysis Overviews
3. Essay Tasks

The key moments provide a snapshot of the main events of the play and broad questions for reflection.  The overviews cover areas for analysis like the central message, theatrical devices, and common misconceptions.  And the essay tasks are taken from old(ish) past papers to avoid any conflict with mock exam choices etc.
