16 Snapshot Notes on A Christmas Carol

For some lessons (but by no means all) my plan is to start providing brief notes at the foot of the opening slides.  There’s no grand purpose behind doing so: just thought it might be a good way of helping to frame student thinking.  For example, there’s a tendency for students to believe that A Christmas Carol is a typically gothic novel – they expect it to be just frightening.
